Trying to pull their focus away from heavy drinking and constant procrastination thieves managed to pull things together and write their debut album. Heavily influenced at the time by prolific story-tellers such as Nick Cave, Neil Young, Jay Laffer, Gareth Lidiard and Tim Winton a twisted melancholic narrative about a trouble Australian family was created.
